The Pine Avenue Landfill project turns unused land into clean energy. Montante Solar installed two ballasted ground-mounted arrays on capped landfill sections, navigating gas flares, monitoring wells, and nearby infrastructure.
The 16,200 MWh system offsets thousands of metric tons of CO₂ and provides $500,000+ in revenue to the Town of Niagara and Wheatfield School District over 15 years. Using the Inflation Reduction Act's tax credits, Montante Solar delivered a turnkey solution covering design, permitting, and construction.
