BUFFALO, NY – Montante Solar President Daniel Montante has been elected Secretary to the board of directors for the New York State Solar Energy Industry Association (NYSEIA).
Montante co-founded Montante Solar in 2009 and it has since become one of the New York’s leading solar developers. Montante Solar is an installer of commercial-scale solar projects. The company’s clients include municipalities, school districts, not-for-profits and businesses.
The NYSEIA board of directors is made up of 13 solar industry leaders from across New York State with diverse and extensive backgrounds in solar energy.
NYSEIA is the only statewide membership and trade association whose mission is to advance solar energy use in New York State. The organization represents more than 300 businesses across 338 locations in an industry that employs over 22,000 individuals in New York State.
Mr. Montante holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Skidmore College and a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
